Hillary Supporters: Sincere Dissatisfaction or Major Hoax

Hillary Supporters: Sincere Dissatisfaction or Major HoaxWell the media is still a buzz trying with everything they have to spotlight Hillary Clinton supporters who claim that they don’t know who they’ll support or say that they don’t intend to vote for Barack Obama.

So it seems like the time to inject some sanity into the discussion. This is not a real issue and is being totally manufactured. But by who?

Well the first guess is the media itself. The race between Clinton and Obama gave the cable news its biggest audiences ever, and there is a serious belief that their just not ready to let that go yet. Henceforth, on cable news channels, the contest still continues as Obama attempts to woo Clinton supporters.

Second guess would be Republicans who are trying everything to create division in the Democratic Party as we move closer and closer to the November election. This is a fairly good theory in that, as long as Obama is courting Hillary supporters he’s not courting disaffected Republicans who are ready for change and know their not going to get it with John McCain.

Third guess, and perhaps the most Machiavellian, is that it is an issue being manufactured by the Democratic Party itself. Why? To get John McCain to waste time and spend resources attempting to win over a group of voters that in reality, he has no chance of winning come November.

I mean, who actually believes that Hillary Clinton supporters are going to support John McCain come November? That is not even possible. To cut to the chase, Barack Obama, as a candidate, is the average Democrats wet dream. He is everything a democrat would want their candidate to be. He gets ultra high marks when it comes to women’s issues, and is a voice that is right in line with the current progressive movement.

So who believes that the Clinton voter block is going to defect to McCain, the physical embodiment of everything they oppose? I mean really? The idea is so way out there that it’s hard to report without laughing. There is no way that Clinton supporters will back McCain, no way. Even if they personally dislike Obama, it’s too much of a stretch that they therefore are going to vote for McCain. No, even if they personally dislike Obama, they’ll hold their nose and vote for him anyway, because the alternative is unacceptable.

So, the next time you turn on the cable news and hear how Clinton supporters are still undecided about who to support, or are leaning to John McCain, don’t you believe it. Clinton supporters are going to vote in the interest of the nation, they are going to vote in accord with their beliefs, they are going to vote for Barack Obama.
