Why McCain is wrong.

Why McCain is wrong. For the most part I’ve been trying to stay out of the Presidential campaign, not because I want to, but because I just haven’t felt right about supporting Neo-Con John McCain. McCain’s left leaning ways were enough for me to decide to just stay out of it, but his behavior regarding Georgia has made me feel I have to say something.

If you’re a Republican, I mean a real, small government, fiscal conservative, pro-sovereignty Republican, please do not vote for John McCain.

On the surface, McCain is a bad candidate at best, particularly at a time when Republicans in general are doing very poorly due to their allegiance to the Bush Administration.

But McCain’s rhetoric on Russia and Georgia has proved that he is not only the wrong choice as a candidate, but he is the wrong choice as a leader. I don’t know when he became a war loving Neo-Con but the truth is he is. And he now seems committed to out war George Bush.

Now I’m not suggesting that you give your vote to Barack Obama, but I am suggesting that you give your support to Bob Barr. Not that I think Barr has a chance at taking the Presidency, but it will at least send a message to the party that they’re not going to get our votes unless they put up somebody worth voting for.

John McCain is unacceptable as a candidate. He is not a Republican. He claims to be a Teddy Roosevelt Republican. Do you see any proof of that? Teddy Roosevelt spoke softly and carried a big stick. John McCain just carries a big stick, and swings it at anything that moves.

His campaign has been a disaster. His romance with Joe Lieberman is embarrassing. His desire for war with Iran is unacceptable. And now his ramped up rhetoric against Russia is the final straw.

Turning more nations into enemies of the United States doesn’t make us safer. Creating a terrorist watch list containing over one million names doesn’t make us safer. Continuing to bankrupt the country, doesn’t make us safer. Employing individuals that lobby for foreign governments, doesn’t make us safer.

Our Military is now supporting Barack Obama. Do I need to say more?

Please don’t vote for John McCain.
