Report: Dr. Conrad Murray Closer To Charges In Jackson Case
Dr. Conrad Murray appears to be even closer to being formally charged with the death of pop icon Michael Jackson. TMZ.com is citing law enforcement insiders who claim that "a big meeting" was held in the L.A. County District Attorney's Office last Friday. Deputy District Attorney David Walgren has all of the Los Angeles Police Department's investigative notes, and TMZ says the D.A. is prepared to charge Murray with involuntary manslaughter. Charges could be filed as early as this week. Dr. Conrad Murray was Michael Jackson's personal physician when the singer died of cardiac arrest on June 25th. Lethal levels of the sedative propofol were eventually found in the "King of Pop's" system. Murray has admitted to providing the music legend with the drug, but claims he reduced the dosages because he feared the singer was becoming addicted.
