Paramore's Williams Gaga Over Lady GaGa
Paramore's leading lady is obsessed with another musical lady. Speaking to MTV.com on the GRAMMY red carpet Sunday, Hayley Williams revealed that she's "very newly obsessed with Lady GaGa." The currently orange-haired singer says, quote, "I think it's amazing to have female artists that write their own material and they put all the work in...We've been needing an artist like her for a long time." Williams sings GaGa's praises because she "does everything" and is "great" at all of it. She also talked about the respect she has for Beyonce as a songwriter who has, quote, "written some ridiculous hooks for a really long time now." As for GRAMMY Album of the Year winner Taylor Swift, Williams calls her "just a really great girl all around."
Paramore's song "Decode" from the "Twilight" soundtrack was nominated for the GRAMMY for Best Song Written For a Motion Picture Television or Other Media. The award went to the song "Jai Ho" from "Slumdog Millionaire." |
