Trump Talks "Celebrity Apprentice," Osbourne, Lauper To Appear
"The Donald" is trumpeting the debut of "The Celebrity Apprentice." According to "The New York Daily News," "Apprentice" star Donald Trump thinks the show will draw big ratings in its third installment. If the Manhattan mogul's predictions of success are correct, it will help NBC -- currently ranked number four among major networks. Trump said in a conference call on Tuesday, quote, "They need more shows like 'The Apprentice.' Not necessarily from a reality standpoint, but they need shows that capture the imagination. And frankly, certain shows that are on should be changed. They get good reviews, but they don't get people watching ... ['The Apprentice'] gets both."
A new season of Donald Trump's "The Celebrity Apprentice" debuts on Sunday, March 14th at 9:00 p.m. on NBC. Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne, Poison singer Bret Michaels are among the celebrity participants this season. |
