Keith Richards Talks Possible Tour, "Exile"
Keith Richards is talking about the Rolling Stones' plans for 2010. The band will reissue its 1972 classic "Exile On Main Street" this May, featuring ten never-before-released tracks from the vaults. Regarding new material, Richards told "Rolling Stone" that he, quote, "wouldn't be surprised" if the band did some recording later in the year. The 66-year-old was less sure about a tour, saying, quote, "Maybe we'll search for a different way for the Stones to go back on the road. Maybe not the football stadiums anymore. Maybe something different. You can't go around there in lemon-yellow tights forever." The rocker also shot down talk that he'd stopped drinking, saying, quote, "Listen, the rumors of my sobriety are greatly exaggerated."
Universal Music Group will release a reissue of "Exile On Main Street" by the Rolling Stones on May 18th. |
