Lindsay Lohan Not Designing Ungaro Fall Collection
Actress Lindsay Lohan may be through with her stint as a fashion designer, at least for now. Critics panned Lohan's Emanuel Ungaro designs in 2009 and now she seems to be distancing herself from the fashion line. According to UsMagazine.com, not only did Lohan avoid the Ungaro runway show while in Paris, she also won't be designing its fall line. Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah says Lohan is, quote, "not involved in this collection." The actress had provided artistic advisement to Ungaro designer Estrella Archs last year -- which means she actually oversaw Archs' work. She was tasked with bringing a younger style to the older fashion brand, but the idea fell flat when her designs debuted as heart-shaped pasties.
Current "Fashion Week" events are winding down in Paris where Lohan was invited to attend the Dior show. EOnline.com reports that the 23-year-old showed up too late to the event, and was therefore turned away from what would have been a front-row seat.
