Pennywise Hoping Fans Embrace New Singer
Pennywise is prepping for their first tour with their new frontman. While Zoli Teglas performed a few shows with the group late last year, the upcoming trek is the band's first with him as their new singer. Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge says the group has the support of the tour promoters, and they're hoping their audience will accept the lineup change.
Pennywise lost its voice when founding frontman Jim Lindberg left the group last fall. The band tapped Teglas to fill in following Lindberg's sudden departure. They formed a quick bond with Teglas, which prompted the band to make his place in Pennywise permanent. Pennywise will launch a European tour in Belgium in April. In advance of the overseas trek, the group has a few shows coming up in California and Nevada. Their first date is set for San Diego on March 17th.
