Member Of Singing Group Girlicious Arrested
A member of the dance-pop group Girlicious is facing possible drug charges following a traffic stop in Glendale, California Tuesday. A Glendale police officer says he found more than a dozen bags of cocaine in Natalie Mejia's Gucci purse after he pulled over a 1998 Ford Mustang for alleged speeding. Mejia was booked on suspicion of possessing cocaine for sale. The driver of the car, 28-year-old Peter Asencio, was arrested on the same charge. Mejia was released on 30-thousand-dollars bail and ordered to appear in court April 15th. Formed in 2007 by Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antrin, Girlicious also includes members Nichole Cordova and Chrystina Sayers. The trio is currently working on a second studio album which includes the single "Over You," released in January. |
